I came across this album thanks to Drummiebenji (aka Firebladerr) who recently uploaded one of the best roots tunes ever 'Free Rhodesia' by the Black Disciples featuring the beautiful horns of Tommy McCook and Bobby Ellis. For that tune alone this album is worth buying, although every single tune on the album is 1st class roots and is a must buy for your collection. Word of advice though if you are in the UK - buy this album from the USA where it is less than half the price than if you bought it here.

Real roots Rootsdawta...I have this album on tape sis from the early 80's but it does not have all the tracks from the new CD...the album was titled Jack Ruby presents T.S.O.S.A. (The Sounds of Saint Anns ) wicked album truss...roots tunes with no comprimise...bless up
