@wtfareuserious How about a Gau 8 on a turret and a M109A6 Paladin Cannon sticking out the side. That would be a nightmare for towelheads on the ground.

In my opinion, yes. I think it would make one heck of a gunship.

Question, only because i got into a debate with someone about it. I know it would never be used as such but could the C-17 ever be outfitted for a gunship role much like the AC-130?

The airshow at March is either the first or second weekend in May. I dont know who will be performing.

@TheMrZAF,
The Edward's AFB runway is, I believe. Our practice was at March ARB which the runway there is 13,300ft.
