Sorry, It's a little bit gay. Ain't the real deal. Indian decals on a Kawa? C'mon now! Reliable? I'm quite sure it is. But the real deal is wrenching on an old 6-volt kickstart machine. Now the repro Indian guys are trying to resurrect the Indian for the fourth time? That's gay! Deal with it: Indian Motocycle went out of business in 1953, when Springfield closed. Anything after that is Enfield or gay! Sorry if I offended anyone, but you can find a real Indian Chief for 15K on up. Love my 1946!

I don't care for Indian, real or not, gay or not, ... I like it like that, it's my bike and that's it! If i stick an Indian decal on my toilet, who cares? If you prefer to mess around with a kick and a 6V coil, hey that's great. I don't care for these old things so I got this, end of story.

there is nothing wrong with drifters and the people that ride them are not gay, you're just sad mate.

@crickle47 I like Harleys but I know what you mean riding a Triumph at first I had my worries but it turned out very positive....and atleast it's not another market flooded HD. Some of those weekend riders <-- myself included are nuts. They spend thousands on add ons just to look like the other one they saw but wanna call it custom or the other broke ass wannabe biker/mechanic that will fuck up a perfect running bike cuz can't afford HD service. BUYER BEWARE LOL! Rigid Sportys are Kool though!

@sheriffquick Thats a good question I have a chain Triumph but that thing is noisy however thats the only down fall. I would like to know if you could lower a bike with a shaft drive? I saw the Drifter here named Black Wulf...thats a bad bitch. I'm not too worried about rallies showing up on a drifter, shit I've been riding a Triumph for 3 years now.

@wrenchy212 I'd probably love your 46 too but many of us can't spend that much on an unreliable bike. They are more in the 30K range now anyway . You'll spend much more fixing it up too. You may not like the new ones but they are awesome looking.

The designers wanted this to look like 1947 Chief so I think it's awesome you took it a step further. The decals are beautiful. I might get one and do the same thing. I went to a new Indian dealer and they were beautiful but 30K. Old ones aren't any cheaper anymore. I was pretty excited when I found out about these.

You did a beautiful job! Here in California, these customs are looked down on because there are so many Harleys here. And, they all seem the same and they are too loud and junky sounding.

I Have a 1500 Drifter and it has a radical paint job...Its my dream bike! My wife hates the Bike but then its not for her and if you dont like a man's bike keep it to yourself! Drifter fans love the old style and the modern tech! I have friend that are all about Harley this and that but they think my Drifter is cool...!
