GilleysMuseum.com's 1st video of our collection of rare, vintage Gilley's and Johnny Lee's Club buckles. We have over 60 collectible buckles in gold tone, silver tone, cast metal, sheet metal, pewter, metal flake, and more from the original Gilley's Club in Pasadena, Texas, the old Johnny Lee's Club, and the now closed Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que at the New Frontier Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Gilley's, owned by country music singer Mickey Gilley and his partner Sherwood Cryer from 1971-1989, was the central location and inspiration for the film "Urban Cowboy" and was the club that brought the mechanical bull to country bars. The movie starred John Travolta, Debra Winger, Scott Glenn and Barry Corbin and featured music from stars such as Charlie Daniels, Kenny Rogers, Bonnie Raitt, the Eagles, Jimmy Buffett and Bob Seger. Gilley's Las Vegas was famous for its Mud Wrestling and Bikini Bull Riding.
