  • This sounds terrible. And the xylo player is not that special...our xylo player has played for 2 months and is whipping out crazy runs at like 164 bpm. Nothin great.

  • That's definitely a xylo, made out of wood. It's so bright sounding because he's using super hard mallets.

  • @Sephiroth912 maybe if you count the sharp/flat keys, since they are grouped in 5's per octave, i think i see 4, maybe

  • @jinglemuffins123 considering the size of the keyboard, it probably only has about 3 octaves give or take. A marimba can have any where from about 3.3 octaves to about 6.3 octaves.

  • I sure hope that marimba has synthetic (fiberglas) bars, becuase he would destroy a wooden marimba with those hard mallets.
