End of an era for Emmerdale. One of the last bastions of the old Emmerdale Farm. I hope the programme do something to mark his passing and not just allow his character to simply slip away un-noticed.

There are no original charcacters in it now since it's air in 1972.
Rest in peace Clive Hornby.
And they should bring back this original theme, better than the 1998-present edition.
