@musicallycorrect94 I agree. Thing with rap fans these days, when a rapper like Lupe releases a project like Lasers they automatically think he sold out and dumbed down his lyrics without getting the full story. Not to mention if something aint strictly rap they don't like it.

The most genuine song on the whole damn album. I really felt this. Lupe's flow was really back on this track. I don't think it was that his lyrics fell of on LASERS, I still enjoyed those. It was his flow. He sounded disinterested much of the album. Defeated like, due to the label nonsense. Friend of the people was all him. He was free to do as he wished, and it showed. He sounds enthused on this track. His flow is back. His delivery is there. They lyrics are always there. Masterpiece.
