  • Asmodeus was on the airwaves for less than 2 years. Frank Sheridan was on this Earth for 82 years.

Frank Hugh Sheridan was born in Honolulu in 1928, and died in Kealakekua on the big island of Hawaii on August 26, 2010. He is survived by his wife, three children, numerous grandchildren, and innumerable horror TV fans.

    You know who you are.

  • SHOCK IT TO ME lives! Thank you for posting these clips of the San Francisco Horror Host who pre-dated Bob Wilkins on CREATURE FEATURES! Long live the memories of Asmodeus and KEMO-TV 20!

  • Ah, yes, the KEMO dumpster, source of many found treasures. And Asmodeus (AKA Frank Sheridan) is alive and well in Hawaii. It's always good to hear from the tiny audience KEMO drew between 1968 and 1971. Those were DBC times (Days Before Cable) and folks had to find us on their UHF tuners. Thanks for the comment.

  • We've dedicated our annual classic horror film festival, SHOCK IT TO ME! at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, to SHOCK THEATER and CREATURE FEATURES. As a grammar school kid in the early 1970s, KEMO-20, KBHK-44 and KTVU-2 were the channels of choice! I also have many fond memories, albeit dim, of KEMO running SPEED RACER, ASTRO-BOY, 8TH MAN, and... ULTRAMAN on weekday afternoons. Long live KEMO!

  • SHOCK IT TO ME was incredible! Asmodeus was doing his thing when DARK SHADOWS was still on and late-night horror hosts were too cool. If I slept over at a school buddy's house on Sat. nites, I insisted that we watch Asmodeus at 7 PM - and they became fans, too! Where is that guy today? Man, he's missed....thanks for the clips.

  • Wow KEMO-TV now needs ABC News to Stay in business

  • And death to FOX and CW (Can't Watch!) and good riddance to the UPN and WB networks! I always wanted to work for an independent TV station, but thanks to those bastards, I'll probably never get to. In fact, I refuse to work in TV at all in the state it's in now.
