The Eleven Rack - Expansion Pack & Acoustic Guitar Demo

This is a short clip of an instrumental I wrote to show the Eleven Rack and it's capabilities in terms of recording an acoustic guitar in low latency mode now that the Eleven Rack has a Dyn3 Compressor and Parametric EQ to help shape the tone.

Just mic'd acoustic into the Eleven Rack straight to ProTools with no plugins.

The Expansion Pack is GREAT!

I came to check out the expansion pack sounds (I bought the 11r a few months ago but havent had time to learn it or PT9) and not only was very pleased with the sound of the expansion pack, but really liked your composition.. VERY tasty stuff there, and it sounded beautiful!

@F1Fanatic Thank you SO much! :-) Yeah the expansion pack is a MUST for 11R owners no question! It's basically got everything it SHOULD have had from the start, but I'm not gonna complain and LOVE having it now at least! :-)

@bsothefirst Yeah no question an amazing guitar - best I've had for sure and just gets better with age. I need to fix the b-string action as it's fretting out just a teeny bit... It tracks great but just so HUGE! LOL - I have a Mini GS Taylor that I bum around with thats a little more instantly accessible and less likely to freak me out if I were to ding it... LMAO :-)

I installed the expansion pack and started having some fun with my bass and electrics but have a question regarding recording my acoustic guitars.. I currently have RL Baggs I-Beam systems installed and use their external para EQ for playing live. I do not have the money for a decent condenser mid, so what would you run the signal path through on the 11r to record, the mid pre w/ an XLR, or the normal guitar input of the 11R w/ a 1/4" and why?
