The Gillmor Gang — Phil WIndley, Craig Burton, Robert Scoble, and Kevin Marks — debate Google sidewiki and identity politics. Recorded live October 1, 2009.
"People who think sidewiki is evil simply haven't (even) looked at it yet."
-- What's to look at? -- the concept itself is evil. It will not survive court challenges -- but by then, massive damage will already have been done, unfortunately..
My take on the Goog wave is that, more than anything, it's a platform - the real power and awe will come later; focused ads being the real win here for advertisers
This just goes to show how non-clued in Scoble really is. The fact that he thinks he should be able to control the conversation about his content—and that he believes he has control now—is laughable.
