NYT Tries to Blame Political Film for White House Shooting

On Sunday, The New York Times said Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, the schizophrenic accused of shooting at the White House, watched Alex Jones' The Obama Deception.

Ortega-Hernandez bought the semi-automatic rifle he allegedly used to fire on the White House from a man named Jake Chapman. William Yardley writes for the Times:

The AK-47 that Mr. Ortega is accused of using to fire on the White House was registered to Mr. Chapman, who said in an interview that he is known to friends as "the gun guy." He said that he sold the gun to Mr. Ortega in March for $550 and that he believed it was the first gun Mr. Ortega owned.

Mr. Chapman, 21, said he had not heard Mr. Ortega talk of taking violent action. But more than a year ago, he recalled, Mr. Ortega and others watched an antigovernment film on the Internet called "The Obama Deception," which was written, directed and produced by Alex Jones, a Texas-based conservative talk show host who has espoused a number of conspiracy theories involving the federal government. (Emphasis added.)

The insinuation is obvious -- Ortega was influenced by Jones' film and Jones is a dangerous anti-government conspiracy theorist.

In 2009, the establishment media attempted to link Jones to the murder of police officers in Pittsburgh. The ADL said the convicted shooter, Richard Poplawski, had posted on Infowars.com and supported Alex Jones. In fact, Poplawski was a critic of Alex Jones.

The Ortega story jives with the lone wolf narrative now unfolding in New York. Earlier this year, Obama cautioned Americans to be vigilant and on the lookout for lone wolf terrorists.

In addition to Jones, Christian leaders are taking heat for Ortega's alleged shooting incident because the mentally deranged Ortega allegedly believes Obama is the anti-Christ.

Conservatives and faith leaders warned Christians to be more careful of how they criticize political opponents after court documents revealed that the suspect in the White House shooting, Oscar Ramiro Ortega- Hernandez, believed President Barack Obama to be the "antichrist."

Chilling the free political speech of Christians and others is particularly important for the establishment now that the 2012 election season is gearing up. It is also important to link anti-government opinion to the incident.

@simendem Yeah. It's actually been discovered that there is a massive object between us and the next closest sun. It's predicted that it's most likely a brown dwarf. But that would be kinda cool if it does end up igniting. We just can't see it cuz it's too dark and our technology isn't good enough to directly detect whatever is there. Really there are probably many other planets out there in the the kuiper belt. We are just now getting the technology to be able to see some of them.

@sk8ingwillkillme Yah I think your right about the alignment happening pretty often. Maybe it's not an alignment with the milky way galaxy... Maybe it flips with the return of Planet X/Nibiru/Tyche/Herculobus? The Bible mentions that there will be 2 suns in the sky and some ancient cultures said there was a 12th planet in our solar system. So there's that possibility.

@simendem Good point but I'm pretty sure that alignment happens fairly often, correct me if I'm wrong tho. And scientists now predict that the solar maximum will happen during 2013 so that's when I feel the poles could possibly shift. But then again we are talking about geological time here so the possibility isn't absolute.

@sk8ingwillkillme ya i know i cant predict what will happen. i'm just making educated guesses. anyways, i think we can agree a lot more emphasis was put on obama. countries all over the world supported him, he promised peace and change. as for the day and hour, it says the antichrist will come after the rebellion. WW3 would cause martial law which would cause a rebellion in America and poles will definitely shift on december 21 cause that's the galactic alignment date. poles don't randomly shift

@simendem wow u are a lil over the top on that one.... lol no offense but no one is gonna be able to know when or predict what's bout to happen. u know much emphasis was also put on george w bush as the 'antichrist', all of that is only hype. there r probably bundles of antichrists so I wouldn't label only one man to be... plus the bible says no one will know the day or hour so don't get too much adsorbed into such fear mongering. anyways 2013 is when the solar maximum will really be.
