The match thing is so nice feature in OKCupid. Usually I just check photos first and then go to see the match questions and answers. It's a big bonus if the candidate has written anything to explain her answers to the questions.

The problem with Okcupid is all the "hot" girls easily get two dozen messages in the first few hours after signing up, and a lot more each day; thus you have to compete with all these men (and possibly women). To put it simple: If you're a five out of ten (in terms of good looks), you can rarely get a five-to-ten if other fives and six-to-tens message them; best chance is to settle for a four or below. But who the hell settles?
