The Tudors starts April 1! Bypassing the typical costume drama for a more scandalous take on the times, The Tudors will focus on the rarely dramatized, tumultuous early years of King Henry 8's nearly 40-year, omnipotent reign of England. For more, go to www.sho.com/tudors.

  • @shiningarainbow He wasn't entirely evil - he did a lot of great things too. You can't simplify his character like that. He's too complex. Do some reading on him.

Henry WAS a rock star of his day - attractive, strong, powerful. Everyone loved him at the beginning.

  • we waanted to watch it as a family.kind of like a form of education.but there was too much sex in it

  • Lol at the views, most of them are because of the thumbnail..

  • @1susanwilliams SAD! He still has royal blood in him. Just think, his decedents are from a royal line

  • @pdana81 Mary Boleyn did have a son with Henry but this son was illegitimate so Henry did not recognize this son as being a royal heir.

  • @pdana81 one of henrys wives after anne gave him a son. his name was edward and he was very sickly so he died while he was king.

  • Call me Ivi Rhys Meyers.

  • I think its a little bit of both, he was evil plus he had a fucked up upbrinhing plus he chose to behave like that when he could

  • @KidBk313 I don't think he had a 'God Complex'. He was simply a very strong individual, highly intelligent and highly educated, the last of his line and determined to prevent the renewal of civil war that had plagued England for most of the fifteenth century. He new that the extinction of his line would result in catastophe for England, and 'undo' all his father's work. Of course this did eventually happen in the seventeenth century, with disastrous results for the monarchy.
