It wasn't banned, it just failed. TaB Clear didn't achieve enough popularity so it was pulled back from the market because it failed. You can still get TaB apparently (never seen or heard of it before IN MY LIFE) but not TaB clear because it simply failed. Didn't even last a year :P

my local newsagent sells normal tab and he once sold me a case of quatro 15 years out of date tasted fine to me kept two intact sold one on ebay for £9 and the other is in my cellar

What was the point of having a clear drink? Doesn't make much sense probably one of the reasons why it failed.
