I.RO.HA.NI.HO.HE.TO was the old "alphabet order" (sorta like A.I.U.E.O.), so it sort of translate into ABCDEFG, but eh... you can see why I didn't.
Someone wrote a poem using all 47 syllables ん doesn't count (with slight change in pronunciation, apparently that happened over time) that starts with "色は匂えど散りぬるを (iro wa nio e to, chiri nuru wo)"
