The Flying Heritage Collection restores, flies and preserves combat aircraft and artifacts representing technological, ideological, political, and economic views of aerial conflict in the 20th century, with emphasis on World War II and the Cold War era.

Acquired and restored to flying condition by investor and philanthropist Paul G. Allen, the Collection will soon call Paine Field Airport, in Everett, Wash., its new home. Scheduled to open in summer of 2008, the new facility will allow for increased public viewing and continued Fly Day events, where these historic warbirds will return to the skies. www.flyingheritage.com
