Unfortunately people has become greedy and has imposed rules that makes method of construction like these not put forth but ignored upon... it's a failure in my opinion..

Someday I wish to get hands on learning and trying this before it's to late.

I studied Architectural Technology here in Toronto CAN and I say words can't express the way I feel after watching these video's.. the skill and craft put into this, the the whole Idea behind it, sustainable way of living should be what it is and should be...

Great video! In Northern California, it would be a difficult task to say the least to get permits to build this. How was this done in Japan, reconstructing a 400 year old structure?
