I expected to be aloof and arrogant like Ms. Streisand, who she is so often compared to.
Turns out she's pretty much the opposite of that! What a sweet and humble woman!

Thank you linegirl1. I saw her in Star Search...Loved her. I always wondered what happened to her. One day I remember Rosie O'donnal announcing that Linda Eder was going to sing after the break. I couldn't believe my ears. I couldn't believe my eyes. Finally I found her.
It has been nice to watch these videos of her. I really think she needs to go bigger.
I suppose she likes her privacy, or she just does not know how GREAT she is.
I would like to see her do more.

I feel like Linda Eder has wasted her talents. She should/could be another celine/barbra. I would love for her to spread her wings and fly. Everyone deserves to know her.

That just shows you that she really cares. Check out her website and message board - we are all just one big fan-family.
Linda tours all year long all across the US ( and in April she'll give her debut here in Ontario, Canada!!!) - she said in a recent interview that this is her JOB. Others sweat in an office; she works onstage. It's that simple. The secretary from company XYZ probably doesn't want to be the SUPERstar, either. Just wants to do a good job. U know what I mean?!

I don't think "wasting" is the right word. I seeit more like she is " using " her extraordinary voice in a smart way. Exploring different genres ( she just released "SOUNDTRACK" - all movie songs) and giving 100 % honest performances. Superstardom often lets the artist become estranged and distanced from their fans who are ultimately the ones buying the music. Linda is so apprechiative and thankful for her fans. Personal meetings at stage doors after a show are standard for her.
