  • If this vid was available liquid form, I'have an intravenous drip.

    Raw fucking P-O-W-E-R!

  • "I'm a street-walking cheetah with a heartful of napalm...Baby penetrate my mind..." I heard those words 35 years ago and somethin' deep inside changed.

Well, he's No Longer on 'Drugs' (those 'bad', ILLEGAL ones, anyway...) Dunno about cigarettes lest he have an Asthma Attack; I guess his girl Hated his Heroin so much and enough folk Cried for Him, so he quit...Clean, but still W-I-L-D! (Ron Asheton, sadly missed) the Stooges' dynamic frontman keeps on going, when HE wants to...Kudos! )O( X

  • James Fucking Williamson

  • @SLACKER614 Watched this vid yet AGAIN, saw your comment; like PAULLONDEN an excellent remark, my old friend (and hopefully still, always, even after the Fateful death-day for YT, March 7th...) and HOW Iggy used these terms from Vietnam; you know, the bits that describe, and those that KICK in the Bollocks. Frightenly redolent of the latest Wars ; 'Fighting for Peace' (Fucking for Virginity?) .INDEED!! X.

  • raw power....using terms of death from dominant culture in vietnam war and turning it to Art...5*****

  • Godfather of Punk...indeed!!! 5*****

  • @PAULLONDEN I must say, I have to agree! I DO like the later mix of the track entitled 'Penetration' ; it is helped, or maybe just different, by the mixing up of the celeste...tho' when I first heard it, I found the 'under'-mix of that instrument fascinating and mysterious. Love the comment, ''behind the couch, coke fueled napalm mix''! )O( X

  • @PennyTraition Indeed, great vintage Stooges footage.Although this still singes the eardrums,I found this 1997 Iggy remix a bit lacking in subtlety ; too much in the red here.Had to have it ofcourse, but actualy prefered Bowie's muffled behind the couch, coke fueled napalm mix.

  • This is the Iggy re-mix, not the original one David Bowie did? I like some of the stripped down raw mixes, too, quite liked ''Raw Power' with the backing vox...

All these vids are excellent footage, put together well..Cheers! )O( X
