They may have been in different countries, but Russia's President and Prime Minister had the same message today. Neither Vladimir Putin in Moscow, or Dmitri Medvedev on a trip to Italy, ruled out running for the Presidency again in 2012. Although RT's political commmntator Peter Lavelle says there's little chance the two will be competitors.

  • HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Putin Vs. Medvedev

Thats one of the most ridiculous insinuations ive ever heard. Putin will be president once again if he simply chose to, which I believe he has. He has revolutionized Russia, and made it great. Why should he not become president. The 2 should continue to exchange PM and P roles for centuries, and I think they will.

  • If I were Russian, I'd vote for Putin.

  • @mulda1234 Yes because they always were the biggest economic power and then the Soviet Union collapse lost most of its money and industry and now are poor. That why America is handling the crisis so much better.

  • СПАСАЙ РОССИЮ, останови оккупацию иудеями ГОЛОСУЙ ЗА РУССКИХ ИЛИ ПРОТИВ ВСЕХ! но обязательно голосуй что бы не идти на баррикады!!!

  • Obama, plz be a president of russia

  • @IamFreeRu well sayd =)....

  • @MrEestimaa Who gives a shit about how strong your allies are. Russia and the USA were of equal power until very recently, as history is a relatively short composite of interwoven conflicts.

Russia still dominates in foreign affairs and the USA does too. The difference is that Russia had its rise and fall. The USA is currently on a rise as it has proven capitalism is a stronger and more global political ideology.

The US may small number of european allies, but Russia has large number in Asia.
