I wrote both of my Senators last year right before the big meeting where they decided the fate of Liebermann...one of them was on the committee responsible for making the final decision, and both of them wrote me back to inform me that they trusted him and didn't feel like doing anything rash at the moment. I told them he would stab the party in the back, and he did....sometimes not even "I told you so" seems to cut it. Joe doesn't deserve a cookie.

Glenn is one of the bright spots of journalism today -- as vouched for by Bill Moyers.
Let it be known, therefore, how off-base the allegedly liberal yet really centrist highly trafficed blog DailyKos is in branding Glenn Greenwald as a pundit who got it totally wrong on "the public option". Slapped into the same category was Jane Hamsher of Firedoglake. Site owner Markos Moulitsas stands on the sidelines allowing this, yet defends people like Jerome Armstrong & Peter Daou when criticized.
