On September 11, 2008 the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Structural Movers (TASM), along with support from some local movers, came together in Manor, Texas to assist a family in need of help. The home they had contracted to move was never delivered to its final destination. It was left abandoned on private property and still loaded on house moving equipment.
