How did they manage to get a dog beach? Around here dogs are prohibited from beaches. Guess why?

I'm not sure exactly how it became a dog beach, but we met people that have a tent on the beach that get signatures for petitions to fight against the city. Having spent an afternoon down there, the dog owners really do understand how precious this beach is and are very diligent about cleaning up after their dog. Thanks for the comment! The only Dog Beach I`ve seen is a small fenced area with polluted water unfit for humans so it`s for dogs. How is it possible I can`t find a dog-friendly beach that`s clean when I live in Florida??

i like those dogs because they just go swimming by themselves unlike dogs here in Philippines are afraid of water and must be forced just to take a bath....!!! LOL... hehehe
