Are you saying liberals aren't leftists? If so you're the first I've run into that hasn't thrown liberals in with Communists or Socialists as a derogatory term. I'm confused though because pro-western democracies like the US have been doing the killing of lots of leftists during and post Cold War... Does that have any bearing on your statement?
Oh, and my point was that sovereign states should keep out foreign military bases.

I don't want our troops in Columbia - Just seems like a way to go after leftist leaders. Although, I think the CIA will act against the likes of Chavez and our military will serve as a back-up to put down further people's revolutions. Keep US troops and bases out of your countries! The citizens of America are impotent and lazy... there's nothing we can do...
