AWFUL! What have they done to our Cotton-Eyed Joe?! The music wasn't so frantic & the dance was more like a schottische, not a line dance that looks pretty much like all the others.
I danced the Cotton-Eyed Joe in the 70s about a million times. The dance looked and sounded NOTHING like this. Does anyone know where there's a video of the way we danced it in the 70s in Texas? If so, please let me know. Also, there was a schottische by Chubby Wise that played immediately after this one.
