By the dawn of June 14th 2008, Saint Lucians near the La toc bay awoke to a stunning sight. The wreck of one of the large cargo ship named 'Caribbean Jade'. The cause was machine failure which led to increased speed, if they had continued to move into the port, the whole port would have been compromised, so with quick tactics the captain was able to crash land it onto the bay rather than the harbor. Total amount of destruction incurred is still unknown.
