Bandai Mugen Edamame (Infinite Soybean) : DigInfo

At the 2008 International Tokyo Toy Show, Bandai exhibited its Mugen Edamame (or Infinite Soybean) series. This toy won the 2008 Toy Award grand prize in the trendy toy category on the 17th of June.
The edamame toy has three beans inside the pod and when you push them, the beans pop out of the pod and then go back inside as you release your grip.

Besides this regular edamame series, there are rare varieties with different color pods and various types of faces on the beans which were released on June 28.
