PUT THIS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST!

Go drive a real NASCAR with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. We ran at the fastest track in the country, Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, AL.

The Petty folks are fantastic. Extremely well organized and safe (for all you sissies out there). They provide everything, fireproof suits, helmets, and cars, of course. You drive alone following a professional in a pace car. The goal is to stay within three car lengths. Get too close you'll get a yellow light from the pace car. Too close, a green light warns you to tighten it up.

Too many warning lights and pro will slow down thinking your either too chicken to go that fast or overly confident if you're too tight. So, the goal is to stay right at three car lengths. One of our guys hit 158.35 mph, second place in our class.

Takes around 65 seconds or so to make one lap around the 2.66 mile tri-oval. Average speed about 145 mph or so.

Sending out a big THANK YOU to the guys at Maxell. You made this possible for us at TapeOnline.com!
