The Durham District School Board and Station Gallery presented the opening exhibition for: Process[ed], an art exhibition of student works from the joint collaboration ArtsSmarts program with the school board and Whitby Ontario's art gallery.
Students worked to create ceramic instruments with the leadership of ceramic artist Barbara Kimball - here the students perform using the instruments in which they've created.

Great work kids! This is Barry Hall, author of "From Mud to Music" the book that your teacher Barbara used as inspiration for the course. I am very impressed to see the great instruments you came up with, and also to hear your musical abilities at performing on them. All the instruments look and sound great. I especially get a kick from the horn and didjeridu over at the far left. It's really cool that you did this. I hope you continue to explore making musical instruments. Good luck!
