  • About the lot more people with autism (got autism) I think at least the high functional one wasn't very diagnosed before. Like Einstein would get the diagnose if he grew up today. Know another one with serious autism he doesn't even try to work on it. Does not have diagnose,, the fuck.

  • I have AS. so does my kid. my mother was given a posthumous diagnoses as well for it. who knows how many generations it goes back on my mother's side of the family?

I prefer to see it as a strength. not as a weakness. it forms everything that I do or not do.

  • @BabyBird77 it is NOT a illness. it is genetic. a illness can be cured. a genetic condition like autism can NOT be cured. it can be helped with proper understanding of what it is. as well as therapy for those with it.

though with some folks who think it is a curable thing, they could use some therapy on it as well.

  • @AustinJohnson07 Asperger syndrome is named after the Austrian pediatrician Hans Asperger. he had studied the non-verbal children that came thru his office.

they tend to name things after the person who either discovered it or was found to have it. in this case, the one who discovered things about it.

  • @brownspottedbanana you would NOT have that nice computer if that was done. Bill Gates is a aspie. which is part of the spectrum.

nor would you have all the other things that folks on the spectrum have created.

  • @brownspottedbanana I forgive you. Eventually you'll be touched by the blessed, and you will have awareness.

  • My brother and all of you are the most AMAZING people in the UNIVERSE! i love you all! <3

  • Stop making excuses for what we are! We are 'normal', we'd only be abnormal if there was one of us. I am autistic, and I'm proud of who I am. I've learned to accept my strengths and weaknesses, and use them to my advantage. This isn't an impairment. This is a personality. This isn't a disability. I don't need that excuse to live with who I am. I learn just fine, I cope just fine and I adapt just fine. No one is normal.

  • @thegogofiasco I'm really happy that your friend has you in their life. I'm 24 and have Asperger's myself. I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for the couple of true fiends that I have that our friendships have managed to stand the test of time. I'm sorry if this came across as random. It's unfortunately far too rare to see people in your position. Thanks in large part to people who take friendships for granted or spurn them for such things are far more common.
