Fucking aye man! There's so much music that I just can't stand but that I'd still have to admit is good music. If I dislike a band it MIGHT be because it's bad music, but it's also possible that I simply don't understand it. I'm humble enough to accept that.

Since "Silver in Blood" they have been slowly disappearing up their own backsides. A real shame because "Souls", "Enemy" & "Silver" are three of the best albums of the last 30 years

the tide puts me to sleep like the many of a far east coast. The massiveness of this song should be a calling of warning of whats to come. tidal waves, winds of great strength. Earthquakes to cause more tsunami's. Plagues to rise. Fire to burn above our greatest demise, our lies. There is no god to see our lives, but a song to sweep away our cries.

Hands down, the greatest Doom band of all time. I hate to label them at all, as I truly love them, and their music brings me back to a great period in my life. Love them for who they are, ladies and gents. Nuerosis will live on in my music collection for the rest of my natural life.

I really don;t understand why people keep claiming that Mastodon stole their sound... Obviously both bands have roots within sludge/doom metal but the differences between the two are very abundant. Mastodon is very progressive and based around the guitar where as Neurosis is more focused on heavy slow rhythm sections. I have yet to hear any leads that compare even somewhat to what brent plays.

This is the fourth song I have listened to by them and I'm still not sure what I think. Its nothing like what I usually listen to, but its really good stuff at the same time. I think, goven a couple more listens, this will become one of my favorite bands.
