@KeitoHarajuku Yeah true, they took a few liberties with the characters when making this, but I don't think it affects it too badly. I'm just about to properly start reading the books!

yes, Neve(Fuchsia) is very beautiful, but in the book she was supposed to be about 15, 16 years old... and very immature, like 12, 13

I've always seen Gormenghast as a portrait of excess. Each of the key figures throw themselves into a world of singular excess that defines them instead of shapes them.
