@The3Clip my copy of new ruins has them as the kidcrash. post-new ruins its just kidcrash. id assume its because the record company fucked them over on this album and afterward they changed directions musically. anyways they are the only band i know of that can make the mainsteam sound sound really good while also getting the skramz sound fucking tight too.

yeah, i mean emo, whatever that means nowadays, but emo REAL emo done right can be fucking beautiful.
i mean it makes sense that they would become what they have , their old stuff has that semi mathy/postcore feel at points, but i just feel like they've lost the attention to melody that was so prevalent in new ruins.
but like i said its all masterfully crafted works of art.
