  • @Mikizzle15 I actually think one of the most under rated athletes atm.. Allyson Felix! especially at the last WC, 400, 200, 4 & 100 relay! :O

  • @fjknm Don't forget about Dominique Dawes, Gail Devers, and Dawn Staley. Hell of some athletes. May not have won as many titles, but some of the best athletes I've ever seen male or female.

  • @fjknm Im with you on that. High five.

  • In my opinion, the greatest female athlete of ALL-TIME!!!

  • @89Olf we as people these days are lazier and diet isnt as good i dont think but i can see why you would think that though

  • Can someone pls try to reasonably explain to me, why today's athletes jump half a meter short to athletes from the 80's/early 90's in avg.? Skill and training methods lost or what?:p

It's a shame to always talk about performance enhancing methods, since some athletes do spread their huge charm but still: were today's longjump women born with less muscle cells in their legs? Did they stop training daily ? Dont they have the superclue in technique and speed ? Honestly, i doubt that.

  • impeccable form. i learned to hurdle and jump watching her.

  • @MrNormalton Quick question, are you a track and field athlete? Do you have any idea what hard work looks like? She was clearly not on steriods. She put in the hard work daily both mentally and physically to become the best without the use of steriods. Athletes today are putting in the hard work. She was one of the many true athletes who wanted to be the best and put in the work. Jackie loved what she did which also helped her.

  • @RodneyRude7 I really don't want to be rude but have you ever watched her practice? Have you associated with the people who helped her become such a great athlete? She has asthma and still kicked butt on the track. Why? because she had and still has the burning desire to be the best at whatever she does. I can't change your opinion, but I will tell you the facts. She did not use steriods. It's called talent.

  • @whitewingeddove70 You need to spell nothing out. Just read what I said. She was never the best or far above the best in the HEP 800! So don't attempt to make it seem as though she was just blowing chicks out the water in each of the 7 events. And you know NOTHING about her coach, her nor how she trained, so I'm guessing we could say you have even less insight as to what she did or didn't do. Once more, all you can say is, "she was really good during a time where many used drugs." not enough.
