IAVA Project Coordinator Jennifer Hunt, a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, discussed her experience at war in a segment focusing on women in combat. Although official military policy prevents women from serving in units whose primary mission is to engage in direct combat, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have shown there are no clearly drawn frontlines.

  • @Temptuous2112 I agree completely. Being in a humvee is one thing. I don't want a woman on my left if we're talking iwo jima beach storm style when i can have another man whose stronger.

  • OMG a WOMAN was in combat!!! Whats the world coming to!?? Women are just supposed to wear uniform, act tough, get promotions, medals, & benefits for office jobs! 120 Women killed.. how many men were killed I wonder?

  • Lol

  • Yea she was in combat alright, l

  • The quote puts it perfectly, women aren't cut out for hand to hand combat

  • There is a huge difference between being in a vehicle or building that is being shelled, attacked or whatever and being in a combat unit. That is like saying Mike Tyson kicked my ass at the gas station, so I could be heavy weight champion of the world. By this definition every person in the twin towers is a capable infantry soldier since they were also engaged by the enemy.

  • As long as they have the same demands on women as on men when it comes to physique I see no real problem. If they are strong enough for what is required on the battlefield, let them fight in front-line units.

  • There isnt much of a frontline anymore. War happens everywhere. It would be great if women could at least get proper training to cope with front line type situations. I actually made a video on this issue on my channel.

  • Doesn't really matter to me though, I think they are all fools for sacrificing their lives for the shithole of a government. I'll never lay my life down for the country I reside in. I'd rather fight my government then fight for them.

  • Women make the army weak. And the gays will make it even worse.
