This is part 1 of 1 of the local Baltimore Fox station covering the 1997 Hemispherectomy Conference & Reunion, sponsered by the Rasmussen's Support Network. Children, who had undergone Hemispherectomy Brain Surgery came from all over America to reunite, discuss, support each other, and learn. These children had intractible seizures from diseases such as Rasmussen's Encephalitis, Sturge-Weber Syndrome, Hemimegalencephaly, Cortical Dysplasia, and Pediatric Stroke. I've had seizures for almost five years and I am lucky that I don't have as many seizures as I used to.
