I must say that Moz has a problem with women. He's not sexist but he's certainly misogynist. Misogyny is a broad, deep and re-occurring in his music from Pretty Girls Make Graves to Lifeguard Sleeping, Girl Drowning. I find it odd that Moz has never been criticised for that. Bengali, Asian Rut and NF Disco are debatable whether they're racist or not. But racism is not Moz's main preoccupation. Rather it's his fear and loathing of women that seems to dictate his creative and intellectual impulses

I personally met Morrissey in NYC in 1992. I'm Black and was a huge fan of his at the time. He not only signed an autograph for my Ouija Board record sleeve but even hugged me when I asked for it. He smiled and rubbed my cheeks and said "Your cheeks are cold." If Moz were racist, I doubt he would have even given me the time of day, let alone given me a hug. Even if Moz were racist, he's not any more so than most white Britons. Attacking Moz as racist is hypocritcal as well as counter-productive.

@morrink Very much so. The U.S. needs to take a good hard look at what has happened in England. Gothic Cathedrals are being turned into mosques. It doesn't make you a racist for wanting your country to not be taken over by outsiders. Listen to "National Front Disco" and then do a little research on the NF. "England for the English". There's the "Melting Pot" idea, and then there's being bullied into selling your country out or risk being labelled racist.
