Wendy Harpham, a participant in the early clinical trials of Rituxan, the first FDA-approved monoclonal antibody for cancer treatment that Levy developed, provides a patient's perspective.

I just got off a monoclonal antibody clinical trial drug a year ago next month.. It worked really well and for the first time in 4 years im in remission!! Diagnosed 2006 with Hodgkins lymphoma. After 4 years of different treatments i started the trial and after 6 months I was in remission for the first time in 4 years...Brentuximab Vendotin (SGN-35) made by Seattle Genetics. This is the future of cancer treatments and im VERY thankful for it!!
