A sea story, starring the famous Migaloo. Something very special is occurring on Hervey Bay, Queensland. There is the Oceania Project, seeking to understand the ocean's greatest creatures. There are whales who seem as interested in people as the people are in them. And there's a white whale and a filmmaker whose fates seem intertwined. Are two intelligent species starting to communicate?

This edition has been audio-swapped (my bad for using film scores on the soundtrack) but a rescored, narrated version is at http://youtu.be/Lo1wkJ_HEYE

  • This film is stunningly beautiful to say the least!

  • "We're here to surf... start up that engine of yours and let's go!"

Dave... this is absolutely magic! Your footage, commentary and the wonderful music all combine to make this a truly enchanting adventure! I love watching those magnificent whales slapping the water, playing and really having a good look at you guys... and the dolphins having so much fun. They really know what is important in this life, don't they?

I watch with mixed emotions... wonder and joy... and heartache...
