  • As a traditional Taijiquan instructor who has done some Aikido in the past I have to say that this is an inspirational video. This video is a great way to show beginners the meaning of Aiki or merging as we call it in Taijiquan. Also it's interesting that the flow and techniques are very similar to our Taijiquan applications practice. Fantastic stuff and the best of luck to you and your club.

  • @Martialmaster92 Obviously not a first-gen guy, both because of his youth and because he is not Japanese. Great stuff, though.

  • @Martialmaster92

He is way too young to be 1st gen (unless he knows the fountain of youth), and I would not call this fighting. This a demonstration. Fighting, by nature, is messy, which is why it is no part of the Aikikai curriculum.

  • Very crisp AIkikai style. I like it.

  • Damn... Great form. This guy's really good. What generation is he? (as in did he train directly under O sensei or did someone else teach him?) He fights like a first-gen.

  • great sensei....

  • Bastante buen video de aikido y bastante bueno el montaje del video, un saludo desde Canarias, España.

    Alejandro
