This engine is all original with about 90% of the paint intact. The factory seals on the magneto have never been touched.

  • the arm that is going up and down is the igniter trip arm it trips the igniter and when that is tripped there is a set of points inside that flip and create a spark similar to a spark plug almost all the engines built at this time had this set-up a igniter to provide the ignition and a low tension magneto to provide the igniter's spark. like i said almost all engines had this set-up but different company's had different mechanisms to flip the igniter's.

  • can someone explain this ignition to me? ive never had one apart, i know they are low voltage, but what is the flicky thing doing? what goes on inside? thanks!

  • whats the serial of this one?

  • i have one two they are a very nice runner

mine the one made for Canada thou so its red

  • Very nice!

  • Nice complete and correct engine, thanks for posting, Paul
