Cross Bronx Expressway (Interstate 95 Exits 1 to 8) north/eastbound

The Cross Bronx Expressway connects the George Washington Bridge with the Whitestone and Throgs Neck Bridges, as well as New England, via the New England Thruway. It's one of New York's most controversial highway projects, but at the same time was an engineering marvel when it was opened in 1963.

Note: This video also includes the ramps leading to the expressway from the Henry Hudson Parkway and George Washington Bridge approach. The CBX starts at about 2:00.
