@MrKardboard It's a cool rhythm; and you're right that the recording equipment, rather than the kit, accounts for the mediocre audio. My issue with Expert Village drum lessons, though, is not the experts' lack of name recognition, endorsement deals, and so on, but with the quality of instruction they present. In all likelihood, this is not the fault of the video makers themselves, as they seem uniformly limited to under three minutes of instruction - hardly enough time for much of a lesson!

@JazzNaySean 6/8 is the same as 3/4 and 12/8 is the same as 6/4. While they're very similar, the bars are longer in 12/8 or 6/8.

Give this guy some credit. His audio sucks not his cymbals and he's playing a beat YOU'RE trying to learn. It also sounds like he's just touching his kit (maybe it's late at night?)
