@BrandCAG why does no one think of these things...

Halifax Pride.

@robtuohy1 JFK was a commie-loving fool. He accomplished nothing except being shot, so he's remembered as some kind of martyr. He's no one to talk about being 'friends' with Canada. He basically bullied our shy government. Canada and the US are today trading partners and most of the time military allies, but I don't know about 'friends'.

@BrandCAG New England had ceded itself to British rule in the war of 1812. The British were a bit too generous with the peace terms. New Enlanders, I believe, had even sworn allegiance to the King! Nova Scotia and New England...almost a New Britain.

What a country the Maritimes + New England would make...

thank you for that wonderful compliment on behalf of all canadians!

@NYcgrguy Yet we had secret plans to invade them "just in case a war broke out" back in the 1930s. War Plan Red. Go check it out, it's crazy stuff.

JFK, said it in 1962: Geography has made us neighbours, History has made us friends,. Necessity has made us partners. I think that sums it all up. What do you think my felllow YouTube Friends?

USA and Canada are brother's. We fight, we blame each other, we both get jealous, and we want to be better then each other. But no matter what we all get along and there is always that one point where you want to kill each other. Canada and the United States will always be with each other. Patriotic feeling's towards one country is normal but know that Canada/United States got your back.

America has no better ally than Canada; the true mettle was shown after 9/11 when thousands of Americans were 'stranded' in Canada and the gracious Canadians opened their homes to them. And the RCAF pilots who in a show of true brotherhood among airmen refueled our jets and even flew air cover for Detriot, Seattle , and Chicago so that out pilots could get some much needed rest. Thank you Canada, valiant allies...stalwart friends!

@NYcgrguy When we suffered through the tragedy of "The Halifax Explosion", it was our friends in New England who provided much needed support and resources. We continue to give thanks and pay respect by sending a Christmas tree to Boston every year as a symbolic gesture that we will never forget. I have lived in the US as well. We are much more similar than different. My door is always open and I will always lend a hand to my American brothers and sisters.
