One of the reasons why people turn to atheism is b/c their parents forced them or were religious fanatics which drove them away. Or they haven't been able to build a strong relationship with God since they haven't had enough love in the home. How is someone going to show God love if they haven't been showed love to them. It's also the corrupt churches with molesting young children, religious cults, embezzlement, and pastors stealing money for their own greed.

I dont like many others believe there is a god(s) because there is No definative evidence for there being one. the believer like urself has the burden of evidence. do you believe in thor or vishnu? probably not but the ppl who do say its true, like you who believes in jesus..wheres the evidence!

@naty86able No sir you cannot compare spirits, and God to bacteria,particles,and atoms, because even though you cannot see them there is still phyiscal evidence that they exist, they're just too small to see. Also just because some scientist believe in God (only 8% of them today do) doesn't mean God is real. Newton was one of the greatest scientist in the history of man, and he was religious, but he also believed in Alchemy (turning base metals into gold and sliver).
