Shayne and Rio Learn "Go through and Hop Up--together"

Rio is now a little over 5 months old... this is his VERY FIRST Clicker Trick of the Month Contest and he even let shayne co-star. P.S. the more i see Rio grow the more i think he may actually be ACD/Whippet mix.... what do you guys think?

Both dogs learned to go through an obstacle and then hop up on a 'table'. I used back-chaining to connect the two behaviors. Rio, obviously had to learn all aspects of the trick, shayne learned to go through and then put that with "hop up".

awesome trick, they are very cute together. What color is shayne? Brown, black, or red?

Shayne is a really dark red... i think--that's probably how i'd describe her. Inside she looks more brown/red but outside she tends to look pretty red.

Yes, he really does look like a Whippet cross when he's up on that box looking all inquisitive-like. And OMG I bust a gut when they broke the box.

Yeah, i think he is looking more whippet-ish to me as well... We'll see how he ends up...

I was laughing so hard when it broke! My chubby puppies broke it LOL... i told shayne i'm never feeding her again.... then i gave her a cookie LOL :)

I loved the synchronized "hop up"s onto the tubs, just looked really neat. :)

I'd always thought Rio looked more sighthoundish, he always seemed a bit large for an ACD-Fox Terrier-cross. Excellent work though! Smart dogs, they seem really great. And definitely cool that handstand.
