Firmware update available for the ST30, G30 and GT30 European models. (except for England and Ireland!)

This video shows that the FBr is reduced after installing the 1313 firmware on a 46GT30E

Firmware download link below from the official Panasonic ES (Spain) website:
http://support.panasonic.es/files/v_1313.zip

Warning! I am not responsible if something goes wrong! I'm not sure if you will lose your warranty. I recommend to contact your Panasonic dealer first!!

How to install this update:
Unpack the file (v_1313.zip)
The file that is unpacked (SDDL.SEC) must be placed on a SD card.
Put the SD card in your tv.
It will automatically go to the update page.
Now you are able to update.
Now follow the description on the screen.

The flickering you see is caused by 60hz (camera was recoding @ 50 fps)

  • Turn the c.a.t.s setting off and put 'game' mode on. That should fix it

  • I may be wrong. If you are using a pc with a nvidia card. Both the card and the tv is producing overscan. You need to turn one of them off. I have saw this selection in nvidia control panel. Try turning the card off and letting the tv do the overscan or vice verse. Hope that helps.

  • @dankwarth This has nothing to do with playing 8 hours straight on? This has nothing to do with games? It's a Panasonic problem! Problem appears also when watching movies.

  • @MrBartech - This problem does not affect every plasma, it depends on producers and models.

Its a problem which only appears when you play 8 hours a day without interruption. And even then it disappears after a while. I would agree its not recommendable to use plasma tv's as a monitor but there a no problems with consoles and games.

  • @demalvideo Mmm... It's risky. It still is a plasma screen and burn in is still a problem. I would not use this tv as a monitor.

  • Hi , I'm thinking to buy this tv and using it also as computer monitor. do you think that this is a good idea ?

I'm finding more and more videos about this tv's problems .

do you think that buing this tv for gaming is a mistake ? are you using console or pc ? the problem you noticed was wile the tv is set on game mode ?

  • Just uploaded 1313 to my G30Y. Brightness seemed perfectly stable, when I tested the TV with "Pan's Labyrinth" :-)

  • Do you know if this update is available for US models?

  • Good job! I think you were a part of getting it fixed, because your original video showed it so clearly and it got many hits. Surely Panasonic was aware of the video.

  • goede info!!!
