How in the world did you learn to scream like that? I'm looking to try some Chariot-style screaming vocals, but I have no idea where to start. Is there a way to learn or should I just start experimenting?

people ask me this all the time and i give them the same answer.....i have no idea what im doing to be honest...

but you are the first one that has had the right answer to your own question.....just start experimenting.....in my personal opinion everyone has a scream that best suits them.....and when you try to scream like some one else like lets say 4 ex. ''keith buckley'' from everytime i die you can mess your voice up real bad..ive tried to do his vocals before and i my voice got murdered

Ok cool. That definately makes sense.

I've done enough looking around now to see that no two people have the exact same scream, so I won't be disappointed if I don't end up sounding just like some of my favourite vocalists. I'm really just hoping to find a sound that I'm happy with for me. Definately, thanks for responding. I'm actually kind of glad to hear what you've told me because I've tried some of the tips and tricks from the 'pros' and they totally didn't work for me.

Haha! We'll see about that.

I've taught myself 3 instruments already, so hopefully I can add this to my list of musical skills. I've also definately learned to not be discouraged if I kinda suck when I'm first starting something new. Everything takes time.
