if you want to ride downhill get a downhill bike. its pointless adapting an xc bike for downhill because its not built for it !

@IX760fire if it doesn't matter what bike you ride why do all the downhillers and champions ride what they ride becuase there fucking better than those shitty as street bikes. maybe you can ride it on any bike but trust any real downhill rider it does make a huge difference what bike set up you have. fucking asshole bet you dont even know how to ride a bike your the one thats being an asshole

@IX760fire, Dude fuck off, you probably can't even ride a bike let alone downhill. The type of bike really helps. Yeah, they used old street bikes and stuff like that when it first started out, that's because it had ONLY JUST STARTED. So fuck off and get a life.

you dont actually need u seat as low as it goes for DH, some riders prefer it high, gives them stability when landing a jup or drop

I bet there are guys out there who are good with any bike that can come close. They don't need no damn YETI. if you need an expensive ass bike to prove yourself. YOU SUCK!!! The beginning of DH racing started with Street bikes and worked its way to these AT Bikes. real riders can win with a lesser bike. if thats not possible, DH racing sucks and so do the riders.
