In 2004 the new adaption of Agatha Christie´s classic novel Death on the Nile was aired in the 5th season of ITV's popular "Agatha Christie's Poirot", with David Suchet as Hercule Poirot.
JJ Feild plays the role of Simon Doyle, leaving his fiancé Jacqueline de Bellefort (Emma Malin) to marry an old school friend of Jacqueline, rich American Linnet Ridgeway (Emily Blunt). Three month later the couple meets the abandonee, longing for revenge, on their honeymoon, a cruise on the Nile. One evening the situation escalates. Jacqueline pulls a pistole and shoots Simon into his leg. The next morning Linnet Doyle is found shot dead in her bed.

does anyone know where i can watch the full episode?? I can usually find these types of miniseries as clips on line, but all the clips are so darn short. Can anyone help?

For me, this is the greatest ever reveal in a who do it, on television or in film.

Must have watched this film a couple of dozen times. Every single person is perfect for the role and JJ Field and Emily Griffiths Malin are superb as Simon and Jacqueline.

My favourite Poirot, though I've seen at least 25 that are brilliant.

Superb rythym and pacing when Suchet says "A crime that was almost perfect; you kill your wife, you inherit her money and then in due course marry your true love".
